Art
and Armenian Propaganda using the film Ararat
as a case study examines the role of the 'art'
in propaganda
activities and international politics. The
book also prvides a detailed analysis of the
Armenian propaganda network and its impact
on Turkish - Armenian relations.
The book is
divided into two seperate parts; In Part I
the motives behind the Armenian propaganda
network is focused, then the film Ararat is
examined. Part I provides an international
relations perspective. Part II is devoted
to the historical dimension: The book questions
the film Ararat's allegations by looking at
the archival documents in this part. Finally,
the authors concentrate on possible solutions.
Assist. Prof. Dr. Sedat Laçiner is a lecturer
in International Relations at Çanakkale Onsekiz
Mart University, The Faculty of economics
and Political Science. He also works as a
senior research, Ankara.
Şenol Kantarcı is lecturer in History at Atatürk
University and researcher at Institute for
Armenian Research, Ankara.
